The Metal Garden, located in Tucson, Arizona, creates unique, organic and creative metal sculptures.

Born in the South, Jon Watson grew up in a world of incredible green plant life.  After serving in the Army, where he spent four years dressed in plant-like camouflage, Jon moved back to his beautiful, lush hometown of Atlanta.  Jon graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta with a degree in visual communications.  From there he spent the next 17 years behind a computer doing graphic design.

During those 17 years, Jon searched for the perfect job, one that would inspire him.  Always surrounded by plants, he toyed with the idea of becoming a gardener, landscaper or nursery worker.  It wasn’t until Jon discovered metal in the fall of 2005 that he knew he had found his calling.  From there Jon combined his love of organic forms with his love of raw steel to create The Metal Garden.
